Joanna was part of the BST Team from 2016-2019 and contributed to the organisation and co-facilitation of our events from 2017 to 2019. She also published two chapters in Beyond Storytelling and Transforming Organizsations.
Joanna Sell is an intercultural trainer and coach and a fascinated storyteller who believes in power of well told stories. They can bring relief and bring back dignity, can be an eye opener and the reason to laugh together because of culturally based misunderstandings. She is the owner of Intercultural Compass, the company promoting intercultural communication and cooperation in multicultural, virtual teams. Joanna comes originally from Poland, is currently based in Germany and works at two Universities in Northern Germany (Hannover and Hildesheim). She also offers intercultural trainings for the business world, global players and middle size companies. She is passionate about applying storytelling in intercultural programs and works a lot with visual storytelling methods. She is the author of an intercultural game diversophy Poland, book on Polish business culture and some book chapters published in English, German and Polish.
