Astrid Nierhoff

Dr. phil. Astrid Nierhoff has been working since 2012 as intercultural consultant and author for history marketing after a brief career as academic scholar. In 2015, she co-founded StoryAtelier, dedicated to social projects and group work with storytelling. Together with her business partner Mélina Garibyan, she is also consultant for cultural matters in business, sustainability management and communication, with a strong focus on narrative methods. Astrid has studied German Literature, Philosophy and History of Arts in Paris, Montpellier, Cologne and New York and is Alumna of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon (France). She completed her PhD on figurations of the human body in poetry and arts at the turn of the 20th century in relationship to conceptions of identity and reality.
