Jodie is a speaker-coach for people with amazing ideas, and has coached speakers for University of Würzburg TEDx in 2016 and 2018. She is also a consultant for organizations with an imperative to change, for example due to a new strategy, merger, need for innovation or international growth.
She has an honours degree in psychology from University of Western Australia and over 20 years’ HR and corporate communications experience in senior leadership roles with global scope, primarily at BASF, where she held management positions in Europe and Asia. She has led the development of numerous talent development programs, contributed to divisional business strategies and steered organization redesign initiatives.
Jodie believes that change happens when people participate. Involving people, listening deeply, and sharing accountability are important in a future of work with less hierarchy, more transparency and digitization. When not working, she has completed wilderness expeditions including Mt Everest base camp, sea kayaking in Alaska and hiking in Patagonia.
At BEYOND STORYTELLING 2018, together with Raquel Ark, she will hold a workshop about how to listen to discover inspiring stories where you least expect it, with techniques and tools so that you can be surprised by your own stories and inspired by others.
