I am a speaker, consultant and facilitator who envisions a business world where human-centered leadership, authentic connections and fulfillment at work are the status quo. My work is driven by a passion which lies in the happy wedding of the Humanities and Business, brought together by storytelling.
As a Colombian-American, straddling two cultures and two worlds simultaneously is something with which I have become quite accustomed. I studied philosophy, sociology and literature in the US, then moved back to Colombia and found myself teaching and starting small businesses. I was drawn to business, but was also captivated by the power of stories, and I wanted to find ways to impact the business world with the insights of the humanities. Thanks to clients who believed in my work, I took a deep dive into researching and applying storytelling techniques to bring about that impact and it has been a fantastic journey.
Over the past six years I have developed various methodologies to empower business leaders to live out the purpose of their organizational Story, lead their teams with Narrative Intelligence and cultivate healthy workplace cultures. I partner with HR teams, company presidents and managers to design and conduct training in leadership and social-emotional skill development and lead strategic projects on internal brand engagement and organizational culture change based on storytelling techniques. To date, I have had the privilege of facilitating over 350 workshops and training courses and impacting more than 2,500 professionals with multinational companies in a variety of industries in both South America and the US.
