Petra de Boer is a communications consultant, facilitator and trainer. Since 2013 she is partner at Perspectivity, a collective dedicated to fostering dialogue to address complex social challenges. Petra lives in Ijmuiden -close to the North Sea- and works from Amsterdam, on local, national and international projects.
Petra designs and facilitates multi-stakeholder dialogue processes to unlock collective wisdom. She uses storytelling for sensemaking and sensegiving and develops and implements creative communication strategies to share new insights and outcomes with a broader audience.
Petra and her colleagues have developed and facilitated several collective writing processes -writeshops- that enable, encourage and support both novel and experienced writers to learn to write and write to learn from their stories of change.
Petra is co-initiator, co-author and co-editor of ‘A bundle of complexity’, stories from the field about navigating in complexity (2019, Aldus Press).
